What's a blog?

What is a blog?

It seems certainly to be a vanity stroke. Look, look at me and my writing. I can be clever with my words. I have something to say. I'm me! Yipee!

I'm not against them at all. Maybe I'm just jealous because it's taken me so long to get my blog on. And my friends -- at least one the other day -- consider me an erudite. (See dictionary.com for definitions).

I like to write. I've always written. But nothing is published. I guess I really haven't tried. But this way, I don't have to worry about that. I guess my only worry is if anyone cares to read it. But that shouldn't worry me either. I've written this long without many people seeing my writing that I think I can go without someone reading my blog.

Only two weeks to go until I get paid. Only two weeks to go until I can go to the store and buy groceries. Our country sucks. How is it that so many people starve to pay for medications? With the new bankruptcy law, it's going to be harder for those people who declare bankruptcy due to medical conditions (1 in 2) to declare bankruptcy. A bill backed by a small group of rich mother fuckers in a New York office spinning poetic about "the health of the economy" and such. What the fuck do those assholes know? Are they blaming missing out on a $10 million townhouse on the upper whatever-fucking side on the fact that so many people pay for food using their credit cards? What a scam! And everyone knows it, but Fox blabbers away with their bold, Hitler lies. It's the second coming of hate and its here and it's raw. The devil wears the clothing of church goers and screams "Hallelujah" (Tom Delay) louder than anyone else. Of course that devil is raping the sheep he pretends to represent. What a fucking sham!

And people who by and large are pious in their personal lives -- I'm talking specifically about those who attend some sort of church regularly and who are good and decent people -- nonetheless stand behind the people who made the decision to go to war, torture, give money to the rich, strip money from disaster aid (FEMA), and lie, lie, lie.

It tears me apart that these people -- and some are my friends -- can so blindly support something that they would never support in their daily lives. It doesn't make me wonder about human beings. I accepted long ago that people are riddled with faults. While it's noble and worthwhile to aspire to more, I only see hypocrisy from religious people. And that is the most insidious, nefarious behavior most of us can consistently portray. Save rapists, murderers, and mass murderers, I would say that religious hypocrites fall right below that group.

And I can here now how some are saying, "Well yeah son, we are better than the criminals you mentioned." Yeah, but does that make you more god-like? The lesser of two evils is such bullshit. There are few people in the world who don't look better when compared to Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, the genocide leaders in Kosovo, Sudan, Saddam, and Osama bin Laden. So what kind of comparison is that? It's an absurd comparison that has no relevancy in clear thought.

Mr. Rumsfeld and big American corporations delivered the chemicals that Saddam used to gas the Kurds paid for by the American taxpayer. What fucking business did a conservative ever create that wasn't based in lies or fear? Let me see. Conservatives build churches around cult-a-personalities who preach fear. Conservatives build bombs. Fox News sells fear to gain viewers. Now let's take those business models and see where the money comes from. The churches by and large get "their" money from ordinary people who attend church and donate to the church. No wealth created there. That’s not capitalism. Those who build bombs pay for those bombs from the American taxpayer. So here a product is created that has no perpetuating value. It's not a fishing-pole and pays for itself many times over. It's a one-off product that kills. Period. There is no wealth creation in this category either. There is no capitalism because most of these "contracts" (between who and whom I wonder?) are among a very short list of companies and more specifically and very short list of people (white-men, educated at expensive colleges). Finally, Fox News gets their money from advertisers wanting to make a buck. But what wealth does Fox generate by disseminating lies non-stop through their echo chamber? And the idea of objective "news" is crap as its owner, chairman, and key employees are tied to the Bush-crime family.

In the end, we have the church, military, and propaganda machine working in perfect devilish harmony creating no wealth while preaching "responsibility", "democracy", and "capitalism."

Maybe because these people are "already" people of "God" they don't have atone for their sins on this earth. They have ever-replenishing moral bank accounts filled up someone else paying to build their product that never gives back, but always comes back to take more.

I'm done for the day.
